Economic and Political Studies (EPS, http://www.tandfonline.com/REPS), an ESCI and Scopus listed journal hosted by Renmin University of China and published by Taylor & Francis Group, calls for papers for a special issue on “Green Banking and Finance”.
Global warming and environmental degradation forces policymakers to make far-reaching decisions, increasingly exposing banks and financiers to severe climate policy risk. Financiers and investors may want to pursue sustainable investing and hedging strategies and consider the impact of global warming and the intensification of natural calamities on asset prices. Economic and Political Studies now invites contributions to a new special issue on “Green Banking and Finance”. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
-
Climate (policy) risks and the pricing of financial assets
-
The impact of financial markets on global warming
-
Global warming and financial stability
-
The provision of credit to polluting industries
-
Sustainable investing and hedging
-
Impact of global warming and the intensification of natural calamities on real estate and commodity prices
