Appropriate theory on“organizationemployee goal integration”,a basic management principle,has been lackingDrawing on the selforganization goal theory of human motivation and relevant research,we first define“organizationemployee goal integration”as an enterprise striving to coordinate organizational and employee goals,so that employees work hard to achieve organizational goals,they may also be more likely to attain personal goalsWe first developed a measure for assessing organizationemployee goal integration,which includes three dimensions:benefit sharing,codevelopment,and common fateWe also found that it had significant effects on employee job satisfaction,organizational identification,and turnover intentionThis research develops a new theory and an instrument for organizationemployee goal integration,while providing new implications for managers to implement the principle of goal integration in management practices
