Abstract
Marxist's world history theory, which has scientifically predicted the globalization trend of the development in the human society, has laid a foundation for the research on globalization issues. Contemporary globalization displays a series of unprecedented new characteristics in the new age and has had dual impacts on the economical, political, cultural and other aspects of the human society. It is a process full of contradictions and conflicts. The numerous contradictions in varies fields have formed a new picture of the social development today. A globalization age, in particular the emergence of Internet, has enabled communications of the human society to take on new looks.
