The Origin of Sentiment

Abstract

Sentiment is referred to as the common, essential and innate emotional elements of an artist, which are independent from other factors. Sentiment determines whether an artist is capable of creative works and whether his or her creation is in high taste. For this reason, sentiment is regarded as one of the important yardsticks for judging an artistic creation. Sentiment originates form an artist's extraordinary sensitivity to time, space, soul and civilization.
