Abstract

The lunar New Year's painting is formed gradually along with the evolution of the customs of the lunar New Year and other festivals in the long period of time;its custom reflects the mind consoles and the spiritual belief of the traditional social populace.The painting has gradually formed respective artistic styles and obvious schools with local characteristics in the historical development,and reflects the respectively different region characteristics in correlative areas.It embodies the folk belief in Chinese society.Coming down in a continuous line as the cultural value system of folk belief,the lunar New Year's painting presents the continuous cultural value orientation,which is different from the official culture.It has truly recorded the basic local situation of Chinese social culture,and is of the vital significance for profoundly understanding the full view of the Chinese traditional social culture.The protection and excavating to the lunar New Year’s painting,the culture resources,is the foundational work in order to treat the Chinese traditional culture correctly,and this can provide the public opinion foundation and the thought resources for the construction of socialism core value system.
