Cinema is a part of cinematic apparatus.It is critical to explore its unconscious mechanism through reading cinema with Lacanian psychoanalysis.Based on analyzing cinematic functional units,e.g.blackness,projection,screen and spectators,we shall apply Lacanian theory of identification to explore the relations between spectators and apparatus.
