Abstract

The practical form of ethical trust is characterized as moral trust and virtual trust between people. The social function of ethical trust is abstracted as the internal stabilizer of social spiritual orders governing system discipline & humanistic spirit, historical emotion & existential longing, and individual freedom & survival responsibility. The deep mechanism underlying the disintegration of the ethical trust is disenchantment of divinity, and distortion of human nature among human being; while the social operation mechanism is the release of the “equality and justice” distribution mechanism by the social structure of “wealth and power”. The social construction of ethical trust may be possible with the norms such as the harmony of humanity awareness & divine guarding, the symbiosis commutation of beliefs & philosophy, the social structure with the game of “rights vs power” , and the social distribution mechanism of “equality & justice”.
