Abstract

Modern Slavic literary theory is an important component of literary theories in the 20th century. It is not inferior to modern British and American literary theory, modern European Continental literary theory, as far as the originality of the ideas, the richness of doctrine, and the radiation of theories are concerned. Modern Slavic literary theory developed and started its “travel of theory” in the interdisciplinary and crosscultural context. From the point of view of the pedigree of the major trends, branches, and schools in the history of ideas and theories of literature in the 20th century, modern Slavic literary theory was an active factor that produced extensive impact and radiation, which is vivid case of the interdisciplinary and crosscultural literary theories operation.
