Under the background of openingup, both global and domestic factors are crucial determinants of domestic inflation This paper attempts to investigate the determinants of Chinas inflation from the perspective of opening up By applying the empirical analysis, we argue that inflation expectation and global and domestic demandsupply conditions play a remarkable role in affecting Chinas inflation Furthermore, the inland regions in China are more sensitive to the changes of demandsupply conditions of external markets Correspondingly, policy option to fight inflation should be stabilizing inflation expectation while taking both global and domestic aspects into account
