Abstract
The research of modern mainstream economics is of methodology-direction; its analysis paradigm is built on the thinking of rational choice so as to have some strong features of functionalism and transcendentalism. As a result, it is difficult for modern mainstream economics to reveal the real mechanism of action and causation, which obviously deviates from the modern scientific methodology. As a matter of fact, economics is closer to the other branches of social science no matter by the nature of the discipline or the objects of research, which leading to the road of a cross-subject consilient with other branches of social science.Especially, as an applied science, economics should be of problem-direction fundamentally, which brings about the requirement for the transformation of the economics paradigm
