The Marx-Engels question", which includes Marx-Engels relationships involving life, intellect and text, is a central subject in international research on Marxism. Three viewpoints have been put forward in international research on the Marx-Engels intellectual relationships, they are: partnership, dichotomy and homogeneity. However, owing to the lack of scientific view of Marxism, they do not really solve the problem of "the Marx-Engels question".
