当前,公共行政学界存在着这样一种研究思维路径:以西方公共行政的个性来代替中国公共行政的个性,进而以西方公共行政的个性来代替不同国家公共行政的共性。对后现代公共行政的盲目推崇就是基于如此的逻辑。后现代公共行政实际上是基于质疑、批判的立场对现代公共行政的一种反思和警醒,这绝不意味着后现代公共行政可以与现代公共行政分庭抗礼、并驾齐驱,更不是以否定和取代现代公共行政为目的。从本质上讲,后现代公共行政仍然没有脱离理性认知和官僚科层制的框架。在研究后现代公共行政理论时,应切入现实的中国经验。

At present there exists such a research path as taking the specific character of west public administration in place of that of China and further taking the specific character of the west in place of that of different countries.The blind worship for postmodern public administration is based upon this logic.As for postmodern public administration,it is an introspection and warning for modern public administration based upon the standpoint of questioning and criticizing.That does not mean the post modern and modern public administration will stand up as equal,nor will it negate and replace modern public administration.In essence the postmodern public administration has not yet been out of the frame of the rationality cognition and bureaucracy.In the research for postmodern public administration,the actual Chinese experiences should be paid attention to.
