儒学社会中存在着某种超越于诸朝代之上的有关王朝的角色设置即王朝角色。王朝的兴起或更替需要满足整个社会对王朝的角色期待,并且这种期待成为王朝自身合法性的来源。正是各个王朝对王朝角色的共同认知、扮演及其所引起的角色失败、角色更替,才共同促进了儒学社会的不断变迁。

There is a role arranged for the dynasty in the Chinese traditional society.The rise or alteration of the dynasty had to meet the role expectation.And the role expectation about the dynasty had become the origin of the legitimacy of the dynasty.The common recognition,playing and its failure,and the alteration about the dynasty role had composed the continuous changes of the Confucian society.
