文化复兴是繁荣和推进社会主义先进文化的口号,而不是文化复古的口号。文化多样性是民族多样性的必然产物。地理环境对一个民族文化的产生及其特点肯定有重要作用,但一种文化不能简单求之于地理环境。在文化研究中,历史唯物主义重视文化自身发展的规律。一种文化的活力不是抛弃传统,而是能在何种程度上吸收传统,再铸传统。在当代中国,只有以历史唯物主义为指导,才能更好地捕捉社会主义文化建设中的问题,明确社会主义先进文化建设的前进方向。

The revival of culture is a slogan of promoting the advanced socialist culture but not that of restoring ancient culture.The inevitable course of the racial diversity is the pluralism of cultures.Geographical condition is important to the national culture production and characteristics,but one culture cannot come down to the geographical condition only.In the construction of contemporary culture,historical materialism attaches great importance to the law of the development of culture.Chinese vibrant culture should not discard old traditional ideas,but to what extent should absorb and remould old traditions.In contemporary China,only historical materialism can seize all problems in the socialist culture development and point out the direction to build the socialism orientation of advanced culture.
