在中华人民共和国史(简称"国史")研究领域,分期问题一直是非常重要但是却始终争论不休的一个问题。所谓"国史"的分期问题,主要涉及两方面的内容:其一,是指目前60年"国史"在中国通史这个"大时段"中的"小时段"的划分及其称谓;其二,是指在60年"国史"内部不同的历史发展阶段之具体"小时段"的划分。目前关于60年"国史"的分期,国内学界主要存在有"二分法"、"四分法"、"五分法"、"六分法"、"七分法"、"八分法"等观点,其中具体的"时段"划分之上、下限又各有不同。之所以出现比较大的分歧,基本上是由于对分期的依据、标准以及分界"关节点"的不同认识所致。笔者倾向于"七分法"之主流意见。

How to divide History of People's Republic of China(in short of "National History")into different stages has always been a very important problem in its study field,however,until now this problem has not come to a conclusion.As to the division problem of "National History",it is mainly related to two aspects: first,it refers to division and appellation for the "short period" of 60 years' national history compared with the "long period" of general history of China;second,it refers to how to divide 60 years' "National History" into concrete "short periods".The current division methods include opinions such as dividing into "two parts","four parts","five parts","six parts","seven parts","eight parts" etc.and the beginning and finishing time for concrete "time period" are also different.The reasons for differences are based on distinctive perceptions on the accordances,standards and "key points" for phase division.As far as I am concerned,I tend to agree to the mainstream division view of into "seven parts".
