运用静态面板数据模型、动态空间面板数据模型和广义矩估计的方法,就1985—2009年间我国省级地方政府支出规模与结构对区域经济增长与收敛影响的分析表明:在控制了地区经济增长的路径依赖以及空间相关性后,地方政府支出规模对区域经济增长不具有显著影响,但显著促进了区域经济收敛,农业支出比重提高对区域经济增长与收敛均具有显著的促进作用,文教科卫支出比重提高同样有助于区域经济增长与收敛但影响并不显著,社会保障支出和行政管理支出比重提高则不利于区域经济增长与收敛但影响同样并不显著,地方政府支出规模与结构对区域经济增长与收敛的影响具有明显的跨时和跨地区差异。

Based on Chinese province-level panel data for the period 1985-2009,this paper studies the effects of local government expenditure size and composition on regional economic convergence.We find that local government expenditure size and the share of agricultural expenditure have significant roles in reducing regional economic disparity,while the share of other expenditure has no significant effects on regional economic convergence.Local government expenditure size and composition have obvious different effects on regional economic convergence in eastern,middile and west regions and in different periods.
